Death is entropy
The ever increasing disorder
Of the universe
It only goes one way
As with time
A little older
A little less together
Everything
Death creeps
Slowly
An injury
A forgotten memory
A little older
Less together
Until one day
The disorder takes you
The order of cells that was you
No more
Into a lump of meat
Destined to be dust
Increasing disorder
Inevitable
The only recourse
The temporary order we might make
Creation
Raise a child
Write a book
Teach a friend
Pass the baton in the race against death
Order from nothing
Creation can never escape
The entropy
The creeping death
But it might
For another day
Keep pace ahead of the creep
Until the end
